Hybrid Work at Thiên Tú: The Future of How We Work

The concept of working remotely has become more than just a trend—it’s a major shift in how the world works, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Remote work helps improve productivity and reduces the need for in-person interaction, protecting everyone’s health and safety.

At Thiên Tú, we saw the potential early on. That’s why, as early as March 2020, we made the move to build a Hybrid Work Model—a blend of in-office and remote work designed to boost both efficiency and flexibility.

So how did we make it work? Let’s walk you through it.

Work Anywhere, Deliver Everywhere

At Thiên Tú, our mission is to create a joyful, supportive work environment—whether you’re in the office or working from home. We believe results matter more than where you sit.

When the pandemic first hit in 2020, we quickly transitioned to remote work to keep operations stable and ensure everyone’s safety. And since then, we’ve continued to refine the Hybrid Work Model as a long-term strategy—not just a temporary fix.

1. Is Remote Work the New Normal?

According to a 2020 Q&Me survey, 50% of Vietnamese workers expressed a desire to work from home. The reasons? Comfort, less commuting, and a safer environment.

In our own Contact Center data, during peak COVID-19 waves, 70–100% of our agents were working from home. Even after lockdowns were lifted, we chose to continue supporting flexible work arrangements—especially for employees who live far from the office.

We also noticed a shift in recruitment. Candidates now actively look for remote opportunities. On LinkedIn in 2020–2021, remote job listings saw explosive growth. That’s why Thiên Tú views hybrid work not just as a perk—but as a pathway to wider talent, inclusivity, and opportunity.

We believe your career shouldn’t be limited by your location. You should be able to grow, contribute, and do work you love—from wherever you are.

2. Building Our Hybrid Company

The future work at Thien Tu

In March 2021, we expanded remote work across more departments—including ours, the Communications Team.

We gave our team two flexible options:

  • Work in the office: With full equipment, organized spaces, and the chance to collaborate face-to-face.
  • Work from home: We made sure every remote employee had what they needed—computers, headsets, secure connections, and access to internal tools. We even ensured timekeeping and collaboration mirrored in-office work.

To make it seamless, our IT and support teams played a huge role. They handled internal system setup, remote communication tools, and even embedded hybrid work culture into our recruitment and onboarding processes.

Our department leaders became key drivers—creating customized training programs, online workshops, and better systems for managing, hiring, and supporting remote talent.

And we’re not stopping there. In 2022, we plan to expand remote job opportunities in regions where we can support satellite workspaces. And yes, we’re launching a new career site just for that!

We’ve also digitized our entire recruitment and interview process to limit face-to-face contact and ensure safety—while still giving candidates a smooth, welcoming experience.

3. Hybrid Work: Flexibility That Fits Your Life

At Thiên Tú, we put our people first—whether they work from home or in the office. Your health, happiness, and productivity matter deeply to us.

Sure, every plan has its challenges. But we’re committed to improving, adapting, and listening. The hybrid model is the right step forward, not just for business—but for our employees, their families, and the community.

There’s no better way to show we care than through real, thoughtful action. And this model is just that—a promise from Thiên Tú to every one of you.
